Job Overview:

The Injection/Blow Molding Press Operator supports injection and blow molding production by operating equipment and inspecting products to ensure quality, safety, and production standards are met. This role requires strong attention to detail, accurate documentation, and adherence to established procedures in both cleanroom and non-cleanroom environments.

Essential Functions:

  • Inspection and packaging of products.
  • Set and use scales for part counts.
  • Visually and mechanically inspect parts.
  • Performs packaging and labeling functions to complete finished goods.
  • Weigh products to verify they meet required gram-weight specifications.
  • Work in the bottle area, packing bottles in both cleanroom and non-cleanroom environments.
  • Conduct water tests on bottles to confirm the effectiveness of the electrotreating process.
  • Operate shrink-wrap equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Accurately complete required production paperwork, including documentation of good parts, scrap parts, and job time.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation, including end-of-shift cleanup.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements / Skills:

  • Knowledge of basic math, including additional, subtraction, multiplication, and division of whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to read and understand written instructions or specifications.
  • Must be able to read, write, and understand instructions, warnings, labels, and postings.
  • Ability to use basic hand tools.
  • Ability to use their hands for product assembly.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift 40-50 lbs. independently.
  • Must be able to frequently sit, stand, walk, climb, reach, lift, pull, push, stoop, squat, bend and stretch as needed throughout the assigned shift.
  • Ability to frequently use hands, wrists, and fingers to handle, grip, grasp, pinch, turn, press, and manipulate small parts, tools, and assembly materials.
