Job DetailsJob Location: Multilink Inc - Elyria, OH 44035Position Purpose:  Working under minimum supervision of the Production Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for assembling the Specials Large Product line. Solid Experience in electro-mechanical assembly required. Instrumentation experience a plus.   Essential Job Functions Perform electrical and mechanical assembly work, which is of larger sizes and higher complexity. Fit, alignment, and adjust components and assemblies within close tolerances. Assemble products based on information translated from job orders, work instructions, procedures, drawings, and wiring diagrams. Be able to read and comprehend engineering drawings. Solder wire cables to sensor head leads. Spot weld wire leads to sensor head leads. Be able to multi-task through a variety of job orders. Ability to follow verbal and written test procedures and document the testing and the functionality of completed items. Participate in discussions with manufacturing - engineering and support personnel to resolve issues associated with the manufacturability, reliability, and quality of the product. All other duties as assigned. QualificationsEducation/Work Experience/Qualifications 5 or more years of electrical mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing environment. Must be able to use a large variety of small hand tools such as screwdrivers, torque wrenches, and soldering irons. Must be able to use and understand basic electrical measuring tools such as multimeters, insulation resistance meters, decade boxes, and a variety of test fixtures. Must be able to use mechanical measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers. Must be able to read and understand assembly documentation such as assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, job orders, work instructions, and procedures with a minimum of supervision using considerable judgment. Previous work in a quality-controlled setting is preferred. Ability to TIG and spot weld fine parts is preferred. Working knowledge of electrical theory is beneficial. Ability to do fine work under a microscope is preferred.   Physical Requirements Lift, carry, push and or pull 1 – 50 lbs. frequently Squat/kneel, bend/stoop, twist/turn, grasp and reach overhead and outward frequently Sit, stand and walk for 1 – 10 hours per day Must be able to pass pre-employment drug and background screen Work Site Environment Ability to work in a 55 – 85-degree Fahrenheit work environment
