Do you have a big personality, a positive attitude, and a passion for making a difference in children's lives? Tiny Town is looking for an energetic, dependable, and fun-loving School Age Teacher to join our amazing team!
We're searching for someone who loves to laugh, play, encourage, and inspire children every day. If you're the type of person who can help with homework one minute, organize an exciting game the next, and build lasting relationships with children and families, we'd love to meet you!
Whether you're experienced in childcare or just beginning your journey in early education, we'll help you grow—including providing School Age Endorsement training for the right candidate.
Schedule & Pay
- Monday–Friday | 9:30 AM–5:30 PM
- Starting Pay: $15.00–$17.00 per hour
- Pay is based on experience, education, and qualifications.
What You'll Do
- Create a safe, welcoming, and exciting environment where school-age children can learn, play, and thrive.
- Supervise children during before- and after-school care while ensuring their safety at all times.
- Help with homework, educational activities, crafts, games, and outdoor adventures.
- Plan engaging activities that encourage creativity, teamwork, leadership, and confidence.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow team members.
- Assist with daily routines, including bus arrivals and departures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom.
- Follow all Ohio licensing regulations and Tiny Town policies to provide exceptional care.
- Jump in wherever needed and work alongside your teammates to make each day successful.

âś… Qualifications
- Previous childcare, camp, youth program, or education experience is preferred.
- CDA, Early Childhood coursework, or college classes are a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Willing to complete School Age Endorsement training (provided by Tiny Town if needed).
- Bus driving experience is a plus but not required.
- Must meet all Ohio Department of Children and Youth requirements for employment in a licensed childcare center.
- Ability to create a safe, structured, and engaging environment for school-age children.
