Town Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our team at our multiple locations in Maywood, Emerson, Bergenfield, Paramus, and Clifton. As a Nurse Practitioner at Town PT, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care in an outpatient rehab therapy setting.
Duties:
Town Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our team at our multiple locations in Maywood, Emerson, Bergenfield, Paramus, and Clifton. As a Nurse Practitioner at Town PT, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care in an outpatient rehab therapy setting.
Duties:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide primary care services to patients with a focus on support, function, and movement.
- Administer catheter care and perform sterile processing following the highest standards of practice.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a teaching hospital environment to optimize patient outcomes.
- Utilize ICD-9 coding for accurate diagnosis and treatment documentation.
- Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention strategies.
- Specialize in treating ailments and medical conditions, including experience with pediatric patients and dermal fillers.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical documentation for each patient.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Nursing with specialization as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Current Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice.
- Certification in Catheter Care and Sterile Processing preferred.
- Experience working in a primary care or similar clinical setting.
- Proficiency in ICD-9 coding and medical documentation practices.
- Strong background in pediatric care and familiarity with dermal fillers.
