Manager (Insurance Processing, Customer Service, and Shipping Staff)

Primary Role and Responsibilities


  • Oversee, review, and monitor daily work of Customer Service, Insurance Processor, and Shipping staff, in Ring Central and Salesforce database to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Review individual staff production reports in Ring Central and Salesforce to ensure position standards are being met.
  • Facilitate brief morning stand-up meetings with direct reports and communicate any changes in staff assignments.
  • Schedule monthly one-on-one meetings with all team members to review and discuss successes as well as any productivity and quality issues or trends.
  • Perform a minimum of 4-5 weekly audits of each team member’s completed tasks. Document findings and discuss and note concerns and areas for improvement with individual team members at monthly meetings. Critical errors should be addressed and documented immediately.
  • Liaison between team members and CEO.
  • Facilitate in-house office meetings as needed to communicate workflow/procedural changes.
  • On an as needed basis, create and implement a cross-training schedule for in-office positions Monitor and update Ring Central knowledge folder with all changes.
  • With assistance, create and develop job workflows for each in-office position.
  • Provide annual performance feedback to CEO.
  • Immediately communicate areas of concern that may have a monetary impact on the Company to CEO.
  • Complete special projects assigned by CEO.
  • Demonstrate commitment to Company's Code of Conduct and Ethics, and apply knowledge of compliance policies and procedures, standards, and laws applicable to job responsibilities.
  • Other duties may be assigned.


Experience/Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate and interact with co-workers and customers.
  • Strong organizational, prioritizing and planning skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize assignments.
  • Ability to solve problems in standardized situations.
  • Strong attention to detail with proven ability to work independently, accurately and efficiently.
  • Must be organized, flexible and adaptable to changing requests and requirements.
  • Experience using e-mail systems for ongoing communication. Ring Central experience a plus.
  • Prior DME insurance company experience helpful.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce database a plus.
  • Demonstrated leadership, coaching and team building skills.
  • 3 years of supervisory experience required.
  • Strong organizational, prioritizing and planning skills.
  • Knowledge of medical billing, insurance contracting and credentialing a plus.
  • 8:00 am to 4:30 M-F schedule.
