Student Worker - Library (Work-Study)

A library worker for the Phillips Library is an integral part of library functions. The individual is a representative of the Phillips Library both in the office and on campus. The appointed individual will:

• Manage printer functions.
• Handle circulation transactions.
• Answer patron questions regarding library procedure and services.
• Be a receptionist for the library.
• Perform light reference work as deemed by the library supervisor.
• Complete inventory of all library materials.
• Assist with moving and removing items from the collection.
• Be able to lift and drag up to 50 lbs.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Salary and Hours

• Students are paid the current minimum wage for Maryland.
• Students will work a total of eight (8) hours per week.
