While this is an early career role at Root, prior experience in the financial services industry is highly valued.

As a Client Service Coordinator, you will support the entire firm’s client base, assisting with account applications, service-related requests, and operational tasks that ensure efficient and exceptional client service. While you won’t initially be directly client-facing, you will gain hands-on experience working closely with senior team members, preparing you to transition into a Client Service Associate (CSA) role. • Prepare and assist with account applications, beneficiary updates, address changes, and other operational tasks

  • Collaborate with CSAs to ensure the accuracy and readiness of paperwork and case materials

  • Contribute to team capacity during coverage periods (PTO support)

  • Execute approved client-facing tasks and independently complete forms during the final development phase, following CSA Lead or Manager sign-off

  • Maintain a proactive, positive, and eager-to-learn attitude while building expertise in financial operations

Success Metrics:

  • Accuracy of submitted forms and documentation

  • Timeliness and throughput of HubSpot ticket resolution

  • Contribution to team capacity during coverage periods

  • Readiness for transition to the CSA role, as assessed through set milestones and manager feedback

What We’re Looking For:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration

  • A proactive, solution-oriented mindset and high attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment

  • Positive attitude and commitment to professional growth

  • Experience working with Charles Schwab and HubSpot is highly desired but not required

  • Industry knowledge and prior experience in the financial planning industry are preferred

What You Get:

  • Competitive pay, with a base starting at $72k, 10% Bonus Eligibility, and 5% 401(k) match

  • Health insurance, vision, dental, long-term disability, and life insurance

  • Completely remote work and flexible schedules

  • Unlimited PTO policy

  • Parental leave

  • Root Reset Days: Take the last Friday of every month off to recharge

  • Lifestyle Spending Account for wellness and other benefits
