New Hire Incentive available up to $4,000 for those who qualify.

This is a full-time position (64 hours per pay period) with an 8-hour varied shift (days and nights) and requires flexibility in scheduling throughout the week, including weekends and holidays, as well as participation in the staff on-call rotation. This role will also staff the outpatient MRI trailer through 10:30 PM and is located at Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas.

 In order to remain eligible for your retention incentive the following criteria must be met:

  • Must remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in offer letter)
  • Must remain in original department/specialty
  •  Must remain in original Job Title
  •  Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted in your offer letter.

 



Required Qualifications:

  • ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT or CRT
  • Venipuncture class completion. Certificate must be provided at application; 10 sticks must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
  • BLS from the American Heart Association
  • Completion of a formal training/educational program in an approved school of Radiology Technology or equivalent education and experience in radiologic imaging obtained through a hospital-based training program or other formalized on-the-job program, in combination with current licensure/certification
  • 2 years of MRI Tech experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hospital and Cardiac MRI experience
  • Pacemaker/stimulator experience 
  • Experience with Siemens Aera scanner
