Position Summary:
As a Production Supervisor at Amphenol Industrial you will be responsible for overseeing our manufacturing operations and ensuring the efficient production of high-quality products. You will lead a team of production workers, manage day-to-day production activities, and contribute to our startup's growth and success.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team of production workers, providing guidance, motivation and support to ensure maximum productivity and performance
- Collaborate with the Plant Manager and Supply Chain Department to execute production schedules, ensuring on-time delivery and efficient resource allocation
- Enforce quality control measures to maintain product quality and compliance with industry standards and specifications
- Promote and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all team members
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, implement lean manufacturing principles, and drive continuous improvement
- Train and mentor production teams members, supporting their skill development and growth within the company
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock levels and minimizing waste
- Maintain accurate production records, reports, and documentation for compliance and analysis purposes
- Address production related issues promptly, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective action to prevent recurrence
Qualifications:

Required:
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- 5 years experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Excellent problem solving and decision making abilities
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and process optimization
- Strong knowledge in lean, six sigma, and ISO 9001
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field preferred
- 3-5 years of experience as a production supervisor in a manufacturing environment

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and production related software
- Ability to gather, clean, and analyze data
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment and adapt to change
