Position Summary:

As a Production Supervisor at Amphenol Industrial you will be responsible for overseeing our manufacturing operations and ensuring the efficient production of high-quality products. You will lead a team of production workers, manage day-to-day production activities, and contribute to our startup's growth and success.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise a team of production workers, providing guidance, motivation and support to ensure maximum productivity and performance
  • Collaborate with the Plant Manager and Supply Chain Department to execute production schedules, ensuring on-time delivery and efficient resource allocation
  • Enforce quality control measures to maintain product quality and compliance with industry standards and specifications
  • Promote and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all team members
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, implement lean manufacturing principles, and drive continuous improvement
  • Train and mentor production teams members, supporting their skill development and growth within the company
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock levels and minimizing waste
  • Maintain accurate production records, reports, and documentation for compliance and analysis purposes
  • Address production related issues promptly, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective action to prevent recurrence

Qualifications:

 

Required:

  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • 5 years experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Excellent problem solving and decision making abilities
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and process optimization
  • Strong knowledge in lean, six sigma, and ISO 9001

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience as a production supervisor in a manufacturing environment

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and production related software
  • Ability to gather, clean, and analyze data
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment and adapt to change
