Who We Are:

Quest Global delivers world-class end-to-end engineering solutions by leveraging our deep industry knowledge and digital expertise. By bringing together technologies and industries, alongside the contributions of diverse individuals and their areas of expertise, we can solve problems better, faster. This multi-dimensional approach enables us to solve the most critical and large-scale challenges across the aerospace & defense, automotive, energy, hi-tech, healthcare, medical devices, rail and semiconductor industries.

We are looking for humble geniuses, who believe that engineering has the potential to make the impossible possible; innovators, who are not only inspired by technology and innovation, but also perpetually driven to design, develop, and test as a trusted partner for Fortune 500 customers. As a team of remarkably diverse engineers, we recognize that what we are really engineering is a brighter future for us all. If you want to contribute to meaningful work and be part of an organization that truly believes when you win, we all win, and when you fail, we all learn, then we’re eager to hear from you.

The achievers and courageous challenge-crushers we seek, have the following characteristics and skills:

 What You will Do:

  • Primary: Review Quality requirements of aero-engine components.  Plan and prepare build of a regulatory based and compliant “First Article Inspection Report (FAIR)” supplier package for OEM acceptance.  Work as per the requirements of AS9102-Rev C and associated customer procedures.
  • Primary: “Balloon” engineer drawings (DISCUS software) to capture required quality inspection points.  Determine/verify proper gaging equipment to use it to perform inspections – a part of the FAIR package.  Inspection will include both dimensional and visual reviews using both manual and advanced gages / equipment.  Inspection tools must be verified for calibration and proper functionality before used.  Create or gather and verify all other quality supporting documents (test records, Material CoC, et al) – reviewing and assuring both accuracy and completeness of each.  Flag and resolve any discrepancies in any data/records.  Take all data and create the “FAIR package” using Net-Inspect software.  Sign-off the FAIR as the Quality Engineering who created it and submit for OEM counter-approval – which is pre-requisite to allow release of hardware to OEM for use in engine builds.  Store quality records and documents for potential audit. Monitor any changes to process that would require a “Delta-FAIR” to be processed.  FAIR’s cover both military and commercial aero-engine builds.  The work is performed on-site at a supplier in Connecticut in a modern Distribution Center environment.
  • Secondary: Spot, segregate, and document Non-Conforming Material when encountered. Support others doing similar work.
  • Interact w/ multiple computer systems / software to obtain, compile, analyze, report, and store technical data.
  • Collaboratively engage daily with your Project / Team leader, Peers – providing WIP status, issues, options to resolve, and generate continues process improvement ideas.
  • Help Quest Global grow while you learn and develop your career
