Job Description

Job Title: Service Support Assistant III

Your Department

As part of the Service Operations team, you will play a key role in supporting warehouse and inventory operations by ensuring inventory accuracy and maintaining efficient material flow. This role is responsible for upholding inventory integrity through cycle count governance, discrepancy resolution, and adherence to operational and safety standards.

Your Position

As a Service Support Assistant III, you will support daily warehouse operations by maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring materials are properly accounted for within the warehouse management system. You will perform routine cycle counts, investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, manage Lost & Found activities, and support the financial integrity of inventory by ensuring the accurate disposition of good material and scrap. You will also contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment while supporting overall service operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled inventory cycle counts (four times daily) to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Govern inventory cycle count activities and ensure compliance with inventory control procedures.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies through Red Cone processes and corrective actions.
  • Manage Lost & Found activities to ensure materials are accurately identified and returned to the correct inventory location.
  • Maintain inventory integrity by ensuring materials are stored, tracked, and transacted accurately within the warehouse management system.
  • Support the financial integrity of inventory by ensuring the proper classification and disposition of good material and scrap.
  • Perform inventory-related activities, including stock verification, reconciliation, and inventory audits.
  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization in accordance with safety and operational standards.
  • Safely operate warehouse equipment and material handling equipment as required.
  • Utilize warehouse management systems and other computer applications to process inventory transactions and maintain accurate records.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inventory accuracy and warehouse efficiency.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Warehouse Operations is an advantage.
  • Experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, material handling, or service support.
  • Working knowledge of inventory management principles and warehouse processes.
  • Ability to perform inventory cycle counts and investigate inventory discrepancies with a high level of accuracy.
  • Basic computer proficiency with experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or similar inventory management tools.
  • Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment or obtain required certifications.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
