Are you a skilled aviation professional with the desire to join a team of talented mechanics and elevate your career? We have the opportunity for you! As a Structural Technician II, you will be using your skills and expertise to assemble and/or create major assembly structures and minor part-fitting operations such as filing, sawing, burring, trimming, framing, riveting, drilling and reaming. You will be responsible for aligning parts on jigs and aerospace vehicles using templates and fixtures, and measuring parts with micrometers and calipers to verify dimensions. You also may be responsible for modifying incomplete and complete assemblies and incorporating the changes into the structure.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Familiarity with applicable technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals and/or publications; ability to complete installations per technical drawings while maintaining edge distance and pitch
  • Exposure to structure assembly and minor part fitting techniques 
  • Ability to install various fasteners such as rivets and hi-locks 
  • Basic understanding repair and refinishing such as airframe corrosion removal, as applicable
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent and typically 2 or more years of relevant experience.
  • Must a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from work location.
  • Basic understanding of Manufacture Maintenance Manual Libraries, Service Bulletins, Service Letters, Airworthiness Directives, technical orders, schematics, diagrams and blueprints.
  • Able to work different shifts including overtime if necessary.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • FAA CRS 145 Repair Station experience
  • Familiarity with GOPS (Ground Operating Procedures) and DCMA (Department of Contract Management Agency) requirements.
  • Background in General and/or Corporate Aviation.
  • Experience with maintenance tracking database software applications such as CAMP Systems, Corridor, Cescom, CMP and AvTrak.
