Job Description

  

Teledyne Monitor Labs is a leading provider of air‑measurement instrumentation and software. We are seeking a Field Service Engineer who thrives on making an impact and enjoys working in a dynamic, customer‑focused environment.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems (CEMS) and related instrumentation.
  • Perform on‑site diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and depot repairs.
  • Provide technical support and on‑the‑job training to customers.
  • Travel extensively (approx. 80%), primarily Monday–Friday.
  • Work outdoors on elevated platforms (20–150 ft).
  • Work independently while upholding Teledyne’s ethical and professional standards.
  • Stationed out of local Teledyne Office.

What You Need

  • Associate degree in engineering, technology, or related field experience.
  • 5-10 years of relevant field experience (or equivalent).
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Effective communication skills and customer‑service mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and uphold high ethical standards.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Willingness to travel overnight up to 80% of the workweek.
  • Ability to climb ladders/stairs and lift 50 lbs.

  

Salary Range:

$50,600.00-$67,500.000
