Description

Job Summary:

Takkion Group LLC is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our corporate finance team in Centennial, CO. In this role, you will collaborate closely with operations teams to drive financial planning, analysis, and reporting efforts. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and Power BI to deliver insights that support key business decisions. Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) is preferred to help streamline financial processes.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with operations teams across various locations to consolidate financial data, and support budgeting, forecasting, and monthly performance reporting.
  • Support corporate financial planning and analysis efforts, ensuring alignment between corporate and segment-level financial goals.
  • Develop and maintain reports in D365.  
  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to present corporate financial performance, key metrics, and trends to senior leadership.
  • Provide in-depth financial analysis, including variance analysis, profitability analysis, and recommendations for improvements.
  • Develop detailed financial models to support decision-making for corporate strategy, capital expenditures, and cost management.
  • Analyze and integrate data from multiple systems, including D365, to ensure data consistency and integrity in reporting.
  • Support the monthly and quarterly financial close processes, working closely with accounting group to ensure accurate reporting.
  • Improve financial reporting processes and tools to increase reporting and operational efficiency. 
  • Provide actionable insights and financial advice to senior leadership based on corporate financial performance.

Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance 

Experience:

  • 3-5 years of applicable experience  
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics or another fully integrated ERP system is preferred
  • Strong research and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage the workload on multiple projects while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Communicate effectively with fellow team members and members of other departments.
  • Strong customer service skills including excellent verbal, written, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction from manager.
  • Detail oriented and highly organized and able to follow and/or create a systematic method of performing a task.
  • Fluent in English
  • Advanced literacy with Microsoft Office, especially Excel spreadsheets and database functions for tracking, variance analysis and reporting


Work Environment/Physical Requirements:

The physical demands of are generally light and primarily aligned with office-based work unless visiting operational facilities/sites.

Specific requirements include:

  • Extended periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer or other digital devices.
  • Frequent use of hands for typing, writing, and handling office equipment.
  • Occasional walking during on-site visits to different areas within the organization.
  • Active listening and clear speech are essential for effectively supporting and coaching leaders and employees.
  • Ability to lift, carry, or move up to 25 pounds 
  • Ability to wear all required personal protective equipment as required
  • Exposure to varying weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, rain, and wind if on location
  • Travel up to 25%
