Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our IT Salesforce Principal Architect, you will lead the implementation and integration of applications into Salesforce environments, including the establishment of new Salesforce tenants, ensuring efficient information and data flow.Every day you will work closely with application and technical teams, overseeing plan adherence and resolving issues to ensure successful implementations. You will also function in a consultative role, leveraging advanced problem-solving and analytical skills to implement, upgrade, and support complex application systems. To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate exceptional expertise in Salesforce architecture, a proven ability to lead complex integrations, and strong consultative and hands-on development skills.
- Designs, develops, configures, and implements solutions to resolve complex technical and business issues across multiple functions.
- Reviews and consults on solutions to resolve complex technical and business issues.
- Leads design, development, and implementation to integrate new solutions within the existing or newly defined architecture.
- Works on multiple functions of high complexity.
- Serves as SME for multiple technical solutions Serves as a primary technical liaison to end users for new requirements and issues related to applications.
- Functions as the primary SME, product specialist, and platform advocate for enterprise Salesforce ecosystems.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Training:
Solution Design & Vision:Â Ability to conceptualize, design, and articulate comprehensive, scalable, and maintainable Salesforce solutions that align with CommonSpirit Health's strategic objectives.Roadmap Development:Â Experience defining and driving the technical roadmap for Salesforce implementations.Platform Governance:Â Proven ability to establish and enforce architectural standards, best practices, and governance policies across the Salesforce ecosystem.Non-Functional Requirements:Â Expertise in designing solutions that meet non-functional requirements such as security, performance, scalability, and disaster recovery.Multi-Cloud Architecture:Â Experience with multiple Salesforce clouds (e.g., Health Cloud, Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud) and a strong understanding of their interplay.Large Scale Implementations:Â Proven track record of architecting and overseeing large-scale, complex Salesforce implementations.Data Architecture: Expert-level knowledge of Salesforce data model, data migration strategies, data governance, and large data volume considerations.Integration Architecture:Â Deep expertise in various integration patterns, technologies (REST, SOAP, Kafka, MuleSoft, Boomi), security, and error handling for complex enterprise integrations.Security Architecture:Â Comprehensive understanding of Salesforce security model, enterprise security standards, and HIPAA compliance.Stakeholder Communication:Â Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, including executive leadership.Technical Presales/Advisory:Â Experience providing technical guidance and acting as a trusted advisor to business and IT leadership.Team Leadership & Mentorship:Â Lead, mentor, and guide development teams, fostering a culture of technical excellence.Decision-Making:Â Strong ability to make critical architectural decisions, balancing business needs, technical feasibility, and long-term maintainability.Enterprise-Grade CI/CD:Â Design and oversee the implementation of robust, automated CI/CD pipelines and release strategies. Save Environment Strategy:Â Define and manage complex sandbox strategies for development, testing, and production.

Job Requirements
Required
- Bachelors Other Or equivalent knowledge and skills obtained through a combination of education, training, and experience in a Healthcare environment. and 15 years’ experience in Information Technology, upon hire and
- 10 years’ required experience with multiple Salesforce products. and
- 10 years’ experience with Salesforce development and
- 10 years’ experience with systems integration and API development and
- 5 years’ experience with .Net, Java, or similar programming languages and
- 5 years’ experience with Lightning, Visual Force and APEX development. and
- 5 years’ experience with SQL, Oracle, or equivalent database development/administration. and
- 5 years working with an ETL tool and
- 10 years’ experience in an Agile development environment and
- 10 years’ experience working within an established software development life cycle framework
