General Job Description

Residential Piece-Rate Electrician
Compensation: Piece-rate pay $25.00-$40.00 per hour (earn based on productivity and quality of work)

 

We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Residential Piece-Rate Electrician to join our team. This position is ideal for electricians who excel in residential installations and want to be rewarded for productivity and craftsmanship. Compensation is based on the volume and quality of completed work—perfect for motivated professionals who take pride in efficiency and code-compliant installations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, and maintain electrical wiring, panels, and fixtures in residential homes

  • Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to ensure accurate installations

  • Perform service upgrades, new construction wiring, troubleshooting, and final trim-outs

  • Adhere to Colorado state and local electrical codes, as well as company safety standards

  • Maintain accurate records of materials used and work performed

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Colorado State Wireman License (minimum requirement)

  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines

  • Must have reliable transportation and basic electrician hand tools

Additional Requirements

  • Ability to read, write, and speak English to communicate effectively with team members and others

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

  • Ability to lift and carry materials up to 50 lbs

  • Work in various environments including new construction sites and occupied homes

  • Frequent standing, bending, climbing, and use of hand and power tools

  • Comfortable working on ladders and in tight or elevated spaces
