Job Summary:

We’re seeking a motivated and detail-driven Jr Graphic Designer to help enhance and maintain the creative visual identity of our brand. In this role, you will support the in-house marketing team by designing and producing high quality print and digital marketing materials, including ads, mailers, brochures, and web graphics. The position focuses on efficient, high-volume production while maintain strong brand consistency and clean professional design. Success in this role requires advanced proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop, a solid understanding of design fundamentals and print preparation, and the ability to collaborate and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

 

 

Duties/Responsibilities:

Typical duties include but are not limited to:

 

  • Design and produce high-volume, high-quality creative assets for both print and digital campaigns.

  • Prepare files correctly for output, including but not limited to: RGB vs CMYK usage; proper resolution and file formats; bleeds, margins, and print-ready formatting.

  • Maintain brand consistency across every asset, ensuring layouts and typography are clean and aligned with standards.

  • Manage production updates such as resizing and versioning creatives for different formats, working from templates when needed, organizing files and keeping projects structured.

  • Collaborate closely with marketing, merchandising, and internal stakeholders.

  • Communicate clearly and deliver on deadlines.

  • Receive feedback professionally and make edits quickly and accurately.

  • Troubleshoot technical and production issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruptions.

  • Ensure quality control at every step of the production process, from concept through to final installation or delivery.

  • All other duties assigned by the Marketing Manager and Executives.

 

Compensation Package: 

Pay rate: Salary grade E from $49,371-$82,404 per year DOE

 

Supervision Given and Received:

This position has no supervisor responsibilities. This position is supervised directly by the Marketing Manager.

 

Required Skills/Abilities: 

  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suits, including expert-level skill in: InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.

  • Strong understanding of typography, layout, and composition as well as color theory and visual hierarchy.

  • Ability to work on-site and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects with strong organizational and time-management skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude and strong customer service orientation.

Computer Skills: 

 

  • Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, type 25+ wpm, advanced familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.), advanced internet research skills 

  • File Management: Strong understanding of file types, resolution, color modes (CMYK/RGB), bleeds, and print-ready file preparation.

  • Production Equipment Interfaces: Experience operating and troubleshooting wide-format printers, plotters, laminators, cutters, and other finishing equipment using their respective software.

  • Project Management Tools: Working knowledge of productivity and project-tracking tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, or Asana/Trello (or similar platforms).

  • Basic IT Troubleshooting: Comfortable with basic network setup for print devices, firmware/software updates, and minor system troubleshooting.

 

Certificates and Licenses: 

Certifications and licenses related to graphic design, printing, marketing, and related software, are preferred.

 

Education and Experience:

Four-year college or university degree required

 

Physical Demands:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. 

  • Must be able to lift 15 to 75 pounds at times. 

  • Must be able to access and navigate each department at various facilities. 

  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle. 

  • Requires the ability to maneuver in confined and at times congested areas. 

  • Requires the ability to sit, stand, walk, stoop, & bend for 8 a day.

  • Requires constant use of arms, hands, fingers, eyes, legs, and back.
