As a Sr ServiceNow ITOM/ITAM Developer/Admin, you will be part of the core team responsible for the overall health and ongoing maintenance of the ServiceNow platform. This person’s primary focus is supporting our ITOM / ITAM ServiceNow toolset and related CMDB functionality.

As SNC's corporate team, we provide the company and its business areas with strategic direction and business support spanning executive management, finance and accounting, operations, human resources, legal, IT, information security, facilities, marketing, and communications.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead all efforts related to Common Services Data Model (CSDM) to ensure our ServiceNow implementation is aligned with CSDM. 
  • Participate in the maturation of our SAM PRO implementation.
  • Participate in the HAM maturation project as it relates to ServiceNow.
  • Ensure the ServiceNow CMDB is as complete and accurate as possible. This includes leading Governance meetings and efforts, working with Discover, Service Mapping, and numerous other integrations that feed the CMDB.
  • Ensure all functions that need impact analysis information from the CMDB can effectively use and get value from the CMDB data.
  • Lead efforts to automate repetitive processes in the ServiceNow platform, especially as they related to ITAM / ITOM. 
  • Identify areas to improve audit gaps, productivity, and compliance, including automation opportunities. 
  • Create and maintain system design and operations documentation. 

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field of study and typically 10 or more years of relevant experience
    • A higher level degree may substitute for experience
    • Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education
  • Advanced experience with .NET (C#), WCF, MVC, jQuery, JavaScript
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience architecting and developing within the ServiceNow CDMB / ITOM / ITAM / SAM PRO / HAM PRO / Discovery / Service Mapping modules. 
  • Active Certified ServiceNow Admin (CSA) Certification. 
  • Excellent understanding of CSDM and the ability to align our ServiceNow implementation to CSDM. 
  • Solid ITSM, ITIL and / or COBIT understanding. 
  • Experience working with most of these web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, SOAP, REST).  This must include experience with UI actions and automation experience using JavaScript to automate IRM control attestations.  
  • Experience with the ServiceNow ITSM modules (Service Portal, Request, Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge).
  • Experti skills in SQL Development (insert/update, stored procedures, triggers), Application Integration, Web application development, HTML, DHTML, CSS

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Prior experience with Team Foundation Server
  • Strong sense of customer/solution ownership, and experience with SDLC methodologies including Agile/SCRUM
  • Micro Certs and other certifications within the ServiceNow platform. 
  • Additional ITIL V3 and ITIL V4 Certifications. 
  • Professionalism with an emphasis on customer service. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. 
  • Understanding of agile methodologies.

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $124,771.42 - $171,560.71. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.

SNC offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
