Job DetailsJob Location: AOK-Enid Corps - Enid, OK 73701Education Level: High School Diploma/GEDJob Category: HousingThe position is responsible for; Supervises and participates in the day-to-day operations of a transitional housing facility; ensures all activities are conducted in compliance with established policies and procedures. Opens and locks men’s dorm, women’s shelter, family shelter and laundry facility as needed.  Making sure all lights are turned off. Orients new clients to the shelter program; ensures client comply with house rules; records incidents daily log book and notifies supervisor or any special circumstances or unusual problems; ensures security of facility and clients. Participates and supervises the cleaning and maintenance of facilities, supplies and equipment; inspects facility on a routine basis to ensure compliance with established standards. Helps with housekeeping work to ensure facility is properly cleaned and maintained. Key Responsibilities: Knowledge of household management techniques. Ability to prepare and process records and statistics in an accurate and complete manner. Ability to supervise resident activities to ensure facility is properly maintained and secured in accordance with established policies and procedures. Ability to prepare and serve breakfast and dinner. Ability to supervise clean-up after breakfast and dinner. Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: Physical Requirements Ability to meet attendance requirement. Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language. Limited amount of physical effort required associated with walking, standing, lifting and carrying light objects (less than 25 pounds). Ability to make complete and balance meals. Ability to sort and file documents alphabetically. Ability to follow instructions and work independently with limited supervision. Ability to effectively and efficiently work on multiple projects at the same time without becoming frustrated or disorganized. Working Conditions: Work is performed in a normal office environment where there are little or no physical discomforts associated with changes in weather or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like.
