Job DetailsJob Location: AOK-Enid Thrift - Enid, OK 73701Salary Range: $9.50 - $9.50 HourlyJob Category: StoreThis position is responsible for: Cashier:Assists store customers in donating, selecting, and purchasing store items; operates and maintains a cash register; responds to customer’s questions; maintains the cleanliness and orderliness of the store displays; ensures the security of store items and the cash register. Key Responsibilities:   Prepares, processes and maintains various sales records, tax forms, and social service vouchers; prepares routine sales reports as directed. Maintains the neatness and security of the cash register area; ensures that forms, bags, etc. are adequately stocked. Assists customers by explaining store policy and responding to questions regarding the pricing and/or purchasing of items; ensures that all customers visiting the store have a pleasant experience. Sorter:Receives, sorts, prices, and prepares donated items for display in the store. Determines suitability and pricing of items based on established standards; assists in maintaining the orderliness and cleanliness of warehouse areaReceives, inspects and sorts donated items according to the category and condition.Selects items suitable for store display and distributes same to appropriate area for further sorting and/or pricing; discards items in accordance with established procedures. Key Responsiblities: Tags items with specially coded tickets and/or prices in accordance with established procedures Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: Ability to meet attendance requirements. Ability to communicate the English language. Physical ability to lift and carry, push, pull light objects (less than 25 lbs.). Moderate mobility: duties are usually performed by combinations of sitting, standing, and walking on a frequent change basis. Distance of travel is usually within the same building. Work is performed in a warehouse environment where there are physical discomforts associated with changes in weather or discomforts associated with noise, dirt, and the like.
