Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the client and internal stakeholders.
- Drive program execution to meet cost, schedule, and technical requirements.
- Develop and manage program budgets, forecasts, and resource plans.
- Define long-term program goals and implement strategies to achieve them.
- Establish and enforce program procedures, standards, and best practices.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Provide regular program status updates and executive-level briefings.
Work Conditions:
- Contingent upon contract award.
- Primarily office / production-support setting with frequent interaction with multiple departments and shared services.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Aviation Management, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Proven experience managing complex aviation or training programs.
- Strong background in cost, schedule, and technical performance management.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in high-pressure environments.
Preferred Background:
- Experience with military or government aviation training programs.
- Familiarity with Flight School Next (FSN) or similar pilot training initiatives.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent program management certification.
Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent communication and customer service; able to coordinate across multiple teams and disciplines.
- Detail oriented with high accuracy in data entry and documentation.
- Strong organizational, time management and follow up skills. Able to prioritize competing demands.
- Problem-solving mindset; budgetary management.
- Professional judgement, discretion, and results oriented.
Certifications & Training:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent program management certification (preferred).
- FAA regulatory / compliance training (preferred).
- Production control / logistics certification (e.g., APICS / CPIM, or equivalent) (preferred).
- OSHA 10 or Safety training (preferred).
Clearance Requirement:
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance as required by the contract (Public Trust or Secret level, as applicable).
