Job DetailsJob Location: Ephrata, PA 17522Job Shift: DaySpring Glen Fresh Foods in Ephrata, PA is now seeking 1st Shift Inventory Control Coordinator. We are offering great benefits, stable work shifts, and a clean/welcoming work environment. Work where you matter! Cooks are responsible for cooking and preparing ingredients for production. Duties and Responsibilities The duties listed below are representative of the types of responsibilities required for the role. Additional tasks may be assigned as needed to meet the needs of the organization: Performs required CMS transactions and audit functions to ensure accurate reporting of production operations, material usage, miscellaneous transactions, and 10-key data entry. Learns and utilizes CMS inquiry functions, including work order, material status, and lot trace/product retrieval. Maintains and updates work orders to reflect accurate production and material information. Organizes and maintains inventory files and records to ensure quick access to historical and current data. Assists with monthly and annual physical inventory counts, including reconciliation and variance investigation. Supports compliance with food safety, legality, and quality standards, including GMPs, product quality protocols, and food security requirements. Collaborates with warehouse and production teams to resolve discrepancies and improve inventory accuracy. Performs additional duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor. While the duties above generally describe the job content, not all duties are performed continually or regularly (i.e., daily, weekly, etc.). Duties performed are dependent upon the operation being supported. QualificationsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Proficiency with basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office and Excel. Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and consistency. Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures. Basic math skills and the ability to track counts, measurements, and material usage. Strong commitment to safety, product quality, and teamwork. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and maintain organized records. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Must be able to read, write and understand English. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS The ability to attend work predictably and regularly and to be punctual. The ability to read and understand documents, drawings, and instructions (whether presented in written, oral, diagram or schedule form). The ability to work with mathematical concepts and to apply concepts to practical situations. The ability to work cooperatively with others.
