JOB SUMMARY

Join our team as a Barback! You'll be responsible for stocking bars with essential items, assisting bartenders, and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area. Duties include inventory management, supporting bartenders during breaks, and occasionally working at a bar during slower business days. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a professional appearance are a must. This is a fast-paced, physically demanding position with opportunities to be dual-rated as a bartender. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Candidate is responsible for delivering and stocking bars with liquor, beer, wine, fruit, mixers, straws, napkins, ice, cleaning products all other products required in the day-to-day operation of the bar. Candidate will assist bartenders during breaks, may be assigned to a bar for a specific time frame during slower business days and also assist other departments when needed.  Candidate is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and organized work area by removing trash, cleaning mats, bar tops, fixtures and other general duties as assigned. Candidate must be able to communicate verbally in a professional manner with internal guests, external guests and management.  Candidate must keep accurate records of inventory transfers and all other departmental procedures. Candidate is responsible for all other duties as assigned.   Candidate must be able to maintain a neatly groomed and professional personal appearance while working in a fun fast paced physically demanding position.  Barbacks may be dual rated as bartenders. Other duties may be assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Previous bar experience a plus. Candidate must be able to work in a fast paced physically demanding environment. Candidate must be physically able to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, stoop, climb, and reach with or without reasonable accommodation.  Candidate must be detail-oriented and organized in order to maintain records of inventory transfers.  Hours vary and include weekends and holidays. All service staffs will be required to learn and be tested on a variety of new products, recipes along with new service and preparation techniques on a regular basis to ensure the department is improving as a whole.  Candidate must be at least age 18 years of age.  Candidate must be able to obtain appropriate licensing.
