Position: Â Warehouseman / DriverÂ
Trumbull Industries is an independent wholesale distributor providing products and services to Plumbers, Contractors, Industrial Manufacturers, Mechanical Contractors, and Utilities. This position is located in Erie, PA and will perform all functions related to receiving, stocking, shipping, and driving.
Responsibilities:Â
- Deliver merchandise to job sites and businesses, deliver transferred merchandise to other branches and pick-up/deliver merchandise back to the warehouse.
- Assist with counter sales, receiving materials, stocking and other warehouse duties as assigned.
- Fill orders for next day deliveries from delivery tickets.
- Prepare trip sheet and deliver invoices daily.
- Complete weekly travel reports and mileage records and forward them to Master Distribution Center.
- Conduct a pre-trip inspection of the truck daily (check oil, fluids, fuel, lights, tires, signals, suspension, and warm diesel engines before driving)
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse, surrounding work area around docks and maintain a clean and obstruction-free parking lot.
- Complete other related duties as needed and/or assigned.
Qualifications:
- Experience in and knowledge of driving trucks
- Valid CDL Driver’s license required.
- Capable of passing DOT Drug Screen & Physical Exam
- Stable and accident-free driving record
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Good written and documentation skills required.
- Capable of lifting up to 75 lbs.
- Positive/team-oriented attitude
- Good communication skills.
