Legacy Care is a company that provides GERIATRIC CHRONIC ILLNESS CARE at home so that older adults with chronic illnesses can STAY HOME (rather than move into a long-term facility...if the choice is to stay home) and be cared for in a dignified and life-enhancing manner.
We specialize in post-hospital, post-rehab care, especially for those who have lost their ability to walk or take care of themselves due to a medical incident or from spending too much time in a hospital bed.
Our clients are retired seniors and executives who want to live life on their own terms no matter what their diagnosis and medical records say.
Some of our clients live inside of retirement communities and we take our services into their suites or condos.
We go wherever the clients need us to to go or wherever the client calls HOME.
It's a pretty cool system for providing elder care and we are very famous for what we do.
We are looking to grow our team because we are adding new clients and that is where you come in.
We are looking for 6 rehab Nursing aides and (RNA) and 4 live enhancement caregivers who can work flexible shifts, short shifts, part time or full time.
A Rehab Nursing aide is a certified caregiver who has been trained by a nurse or therapist to help a person regain their physical function and mobility.
A life enhancement caregiver is a caregiver who has been trained by a nurse or a recreational therapy professional to provide personal care, supportive living services, mental stimulation and recreational activities.
CERTIFIED AS A NURSE'S AIDE OR HOME HEALTH AIDE BUT DO NOT HAVE EXPERIENCE YET? No problem because we offer in house and on the job training.
You will get interviewed via Zoom and if you are a good fit, then interviewed in person . If you are a good fit you will be hired on the spot. Orientation and training follows and you can be on the job in a few days.

Responsibilities
- Assist with personal hygiene needs and dressing
- Assist with mobility, walking, and physical therapy exercises
- Prepare meals and snacks
- Light housekeeping activities
- Medication reminder
- Provide companionship
- Assist with errands and shopping
- symptom management
- documentation
- Reporting
Qualifications
- Registered Home Health Aide with previous experience as a Caregiver, CNA, Medical assistant or similar role is preferred
- Negative TB test or chest XRAY to rule out TB
- reliable transportation
- First aid and CPR-certified
- Knowledge of basic housekeeping tasks and cooking skills
- Ability to adhere to all health and safety guidelines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift heaving objects
- Compassionate, respectful, ethical
Compensation: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
