Maintenance Technician- Full-Time

We are searching for a Full-Time Maintenance Technician to work in our residential program located in Escondido, CA. This position is responsible for performing renovations, repairs and preventive maintenance of Learning Services houses, apartments and office spaces, as directed by the Facilities Supervisor.  This role is responsible for completing all work assignments in accordance with the company’s quality standards and pre-assigned job specifications, as well as assuring that deadlines are met for all projects.

Pay Rate: $32/hr

Duties:

• Work experience and advanced training in at least two of the following trades:  plumbing, electric, carpentry and painting
• Occasionally required to sit; frequently required to bend, stoop, kneel, stand and walk
• Must have the ability to handle and organize multiple priorities and deadlines
• Must have the ability to travel up to 40% of the time spent working in this position

Requirements:

• A high school diploma or GED is required
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have a valid driver's license and responsible driving behaviors must be maintained
• Ability to lift 50lbs
