SUMMARY: The Senior Human Resources Coordinator plays a key role in supporting HR operations, employee relations, leave administration, compliance, reporting, and employee support across the organization. This position serves as a trusted resource for employees and managers while partnering with HR leadership to deliver efficient, compliant, and employee-focused HR services. - Coordinate leave of absence administration, including tracking documentation, deadlines, return-to-work requirements, and employee communications.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employees and managers regarding leave, disability, and accommodation-related processes.
- Coordinate with managers, Payroll, Benefits, and third-party administrators regarding leave and disability claims.
- Support employee relations case management, documentation, investigations, and reporting.
- Prepare case summaries, reports, metrics, and workforce analytics to support HR decision-making.
- Administer employment verifications, wage garnishments, child support orders, levies, and related HR processes.
- Assist with unemployment claims, regulatory inquiries, audits, and compliance-related activities.
- Maintain employee personnel files, HR records, and document retention practices in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Support compliance tracking for employee certifications, licenses, training, and other workforce requirements.
- Serve as a resource for employees and managers regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs.
- Provide backup support for benefits administration, deduction setup, and open enrollment activities.
- Participate in HR process improvements, special projects, and initiatives that enhance employee experience and operational effectiveness.
- Other duties and responsibilities as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent) preferred.
- 3+ years of progressive Human Resources experience.
- Experience administering leave programs, including FMLA, CFRA, PDL, ADA, SDI, and PFL.
- Experience supporting employee relations processes, investigations, and case administration.
- Experience with HR compliance, employment verifications, unemployment claims, and wage garnishments.
- Experience preparing HR reports, metrics, and workforce analytics.
- Dayforce HRIS experience preferred.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including reporting, pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis.
- Strong understanding of California employment laws, leave administration, and HR best practices.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment.

The starting salary for this opportunity range is listed. Other rewards may include annual bonus eligibility based on company and individual performance, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards.
