Summary
Under supervision, develops and implements behavior management and/or skills acquisition plans.
Responsibilities
- Completes Assessments to determine appropriateness for services.
- Develops and implements behavior management plans as required by regulatory agencies.
- Evaluates clients physical or mental condition based on review of client's information.
- Maintain confidentiality of records relating to client's treatment
- Monitor, evaluate, and records client progress according to measurable goals described in treatment and care plan.
- Prepare and maintain all required treatment records and reports.
- Provides training to direct staff in implementing behavior modification techniques.
- Trains to collect information about clients through interviews, observation, and tests.
- Executes evidence-based counseling groups designed to enlighten clients on prevention and perpetuation of learned techniques, strategies, and interventions to maintain stability.
- Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
. Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university OR certification as an addiction counselor from the Georgia Addiction Counselors Association (GACA) or equivalent certification.
- Note: Some positions require a valid Georgia's Driver's License.
