Minimum Qualifications:

Valid electrician license or certification as required by the state or relevant jurisdiction.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical maintenance or installation, preferably within hospitality, tourism, or related industries.
Strong knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) and OSHA safety regulations.
Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
Physical ability to perform tasks that may include climbing, lifting, and working in confined spaces.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in hospitality or recreational facility environments.
Certification in specialized electrical systems such as HVAC controls, fire alarm systems, or energy management systems.
Familiarity with sustainable and energy-efficient electrical technologies.
Training in first aid and CPR.
Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).

Responsibilities:

Install, inspect, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, and control systems within hospitality and recreational facilities.
Diagnose electrical malfunctions using appropriate testing devices and troubleshoot issues to ensure minimal disruption to facility operations.
Collaborate with facility management and other maintenance personnel to schedule and prioritize electrical work in alignment with operational needs.
Ensure all electrical work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes, as well as company safety standards and policies.
Maintain accurate records of electrical maintenance, repairs, and inspections to support regulatory compliance and asset management.
Respond promptly to emergency electrical issues to restore service and maintain safety for guests and staff.
