SUMMARY:

Responsible for reviewing and monitoring the Company’s compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations, including but not limited to, taxes, gaming regulations, internal controls, and policies and procedures. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following:

  • Determine the adequacy of internal control and procedures by monitoring compliance with federal, state, and/or local gaming regulatory agencies as well as internal controls, policies and procedures. 
  • Cooperate with but perform independently of all other operating departments. 
  • Knowledge of local jurisdiction gaming laws (federal, state, compact, etc.) and attendant regulations as well as internal controls, policies and procedures. 
  • Perform regularly scheduled internal audits based on an audit plan developed in conjunctions with the Compliance Director. 
  • Report audit results to Company department heads and the Executive Team in an objective manner. 
  • Conduct follow-up audits as required to ensure corrective action has been taken where required. 
  • Keep all areas clean and sanitized as directed.
  • Responsible for maintaining a consistent, regular attendance record. 
  • Other duties as assigned. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • College degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related field preferred, but not required. 
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in internal auditing or accounting operations.
