- Induce and monitor anesthesia, perform endotracheal intubationÂ
- Perform dental prophylaxis and take dental radiographsÂ
- Administer injectable, oral, and topical medicationsÂ
- Collect and process blood, urine, fecal, and cytology samplesÂ
- Place IV catheters, administer fluid therapyÂ
- Assist in surgical prep, monitoring, and recoveryÂ
- Manage hospitalized patients and maintain treatment protocolsÂ
- Capture high-quality radiographsÂ
- Conduct in-house lab testing (hematology, urinalysis, cytology)Â
- Assist with advanced diagnostics and specialty referralsÂ
- Provide compassionate client education on medications, treatments, and preventive careÂ
- Deliver discharge instructions and follow-up recommendationsÂ
- Build trusted relationships with pet ownersÂ
- Maintain accurate medical records and controlled drug logsÂ
- Follow OSHA and COMAR regulationsÂ

- Ability to multitask in a high-volume setting without compromising careÂ
- Ability to lift and or carry up to 50 lbs frequentlyÂ
