LSI Staffing is seeking experienced production associates to assist operations at a reputable garage door manufacturer in Lawrence, KS. This is not an entry-level role — we are looking for candidates who have hands-on experience in a manufacturing or production setting. Candidates should demonstrate quick adaptability to diverse production processes to ensure streamlined operations.

You’ll be expected to support various areas of the production floor, use hand and power tools confidently, and adapt to changing demands throughout your shift. Versatility, mechanical understanding, and attention to detail are key to success in this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Take initiative to learn the various stations in a department, to further develop in position
• Must be able to multi task to assist where needed
• Operate a variety of hand and power tools with accuracy and care
• Rotate through tasks such as assembly, material handling, inspection, and line support
• Maintain safety, quality, and production standards at all times
• Lift and/or move loads up to 50 lbs, with occasional requirements to lift and/or move up to 80 lbs.
• Maintain the ability to stand for up to 12 hours per day.
• Communicate effectively with team leads and follow detailed work instructions

• 1–2+ years of experience in manufacturing, assembly, or similar industrial work
• Ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time
• Ability to work in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment
• Comfortable adapting to different tasks and working across departments
• Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort with tools and machinery
• Familiarity with production metrics, quality control standards, or Lean manufacturing principles is a plus.
