Operations Manager

Reports to: VP of Distribution | Exempt (Salaried)

About the Role

We're looking for a results-driven Operations Manager to lead 2nd shift operations at our 100,000+ sq. ft. Eudora distribution center. This is a hands-on leadership role — you'll own daily operations, develop a high-performing supervisory team, and help drive the continued growth of a fast-paced, expanding facility.

What You'll Do

  • Directly oversee 2nd shift area supervisors managing 30+ warehouse employees
  • Build and develop a management support team capable of meeting and exceeding customer service level requirements
  • Lead staffing and workforce planning to meet daily operational demands
  • Monitor floor activity and provide real-time support and coaching to associates
  • Set team objectives, plan projects, and track performance against goals
  • Ensure equipment is operational and proactively address any issues causing delays
  • Identify and resolve logistical challenges quickly and effectively
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with peer managers on products, shipping timelines, and distribution priorities

What We're Looking For

Required:

  • 5+ years of experience in a distribution, warehouse, or operations environment
  • Proven ability to interpret data and use it to drive informed decisions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Preferred:

  • Associate's Degree or higher
  • Prior warehouse management experience
  • Lean / Six Sigma certification or working knowledge
