Primary Responsibilities:
The Client Relationship Manager will partner closely with the firm's Wealth Managers to provide exceptional service to clients while supporting the implementation of investment management and comprehensive wealth planning strategies. This individual will serve as a trusted point of contact for clients, ensuring a seamless experience through proactive communication, operational support, and relationship management.
The role includes established responsibilities while also providing opportunities to contribute to firm-wide initiatives, process improvements, and special projects as the organization continues to grow.
We are seeking a collaborative, client-focused professional who is eager to develop into a key member of our wealth management team.
Some of the responsibilities of the individual in this role will include:
- Delivering exceptional client service by responding to client inquiries promptly, professionally, and with a high degree of discretion and confidentiality
- Supporting Wealth Managers with the implementation of investment management and wealth planning recommendations
- Coordinating the client onboarding process, including account opening, document preparation, and account maintenance
- Processing account transactions, including the movement of funds and securities
- Monitoring and assisting with portfolio rebalancing in accordance with Investment Committee guidelines
- Scheduling client meetings, preparing meeting materials, documenting client interactions, and coordinating follow-up activities
- Assisting in the development, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of comprehensive client wealth plans
- Coordinating with clients' attorneys, CPAs, and other professional advisors to facilitate comprehensive wealth management solutions
- Managing ongoing client account maintenance, including account updates, beneficiary and signer changes, address changes, and other service requests
- Managing multiple priorities and projects while maintaining accuracy and meeting established deadlines
- Collaborating with team members on operational improvements, client service initiatives, and firm-wide strategic projects
- Supporting additional operational, administrative, and client service functions as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field
- Strong understanding of financial statements, investment terminology, and wealth management concepts
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build trusted client relationships
- Demonstrated emotional intelligence, empathy, and professionalism when working with clients
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a high level of attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to quickly learn and effectively utilize financial planning, portfolio management, and CRM software
- Desire to work in a collaborative, entrepreneurial, and client-focused environment
- Commitment to continuous professional development and expanding knowledge within the wealth management industry
New hires are expected to successfully obtain the NASAA Series 65 license within the firm's designated timeframe if not already licensed. Sapient supports continued professional growth and encourages employees to pursue advanced industry designations, including the Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) and Certified Private Wealth Advisor® (CPWA®).
The annualized base pay range for this role is expected to be between $65,000-$70,000 base salary compensation range. Actual base pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, subject matter expertise, geographic location where work will be performed, and the applicant’s skill set. The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package. Other rewards may include an annual cash bonus and a comprehensive benefits package, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k).
