Essential Duties and Responsibilities β€’ Provide guidance and support in the job search process, including counseling, skill development, and mentoring. β€’ Develop and deliver training programs to enhance client employability and job search skills. β€’ Build relationships with employers, networking, and job placement organizations to understand hiring needs and connect with clients who are suitable for the positions. β€’ Maintain client records, track progress, and document outcomes. Job Requirements β€’ 21 years of age or older. β€’ Eligible to work in the United States (must provide required documentation). β€’ Able to speak, read, and write in English. β€’ Pass a criminal background check (some records are acceptable). β€’ Pass a drug screening for all federally controlled substances, including cannabis (THC). β€’ Reliable personal transportation. Experience β€’ Two years of related experience or equivalent required. Preference for experience assisting individuals with self-sufficiency, vocational goals, or related counseling experience. β€’ Experience or knowledge of working with the business community. β€’ Proficient with Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook, and data management systems. β€’ Able to present on virtual platforms (Zoom, Teams, etc.). Education β€’ High school diploma or GED. Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations β€’ Oregon/Alaska driver’s license and insurable driving record. Physical Demands of Work β€’ Occasionally lift 10-35 pounds and/or move up to 50 pounds with assistance. β€’ Speak, hear, and see, including peripheral vision and depth perception. β€’ Use hands to feel objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms, with finger dexterity. β€’ Use telephone, computer, paper, and pens. β€’ Ability to perform the essential duties of the positions, with or without reasonable accommodations. Work Environment β€’ Typically Indoor but may include outdoor, warehouse, store and community sites. β€’ Occasional travel between locations and local community. β€’ Noise level is moderate to loud. Work Hours β€’ Typically, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. QualificationsEXPERIENCE Two years related experience and training or equivalent. Knowledge of or experience working with the business community. Experience assisting individuals with self-sufficiency, vocational goals or related counseling practices preferred. Proficient knowledge of basic office software. Ability to utilize Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook and data management systems. Knowledge of and ability to present in virtual platforms. EDUCATION High school diploma or G.E.D. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Current valid Alaska or Oregon Driver License and insurable driving record.
