Position Mission

Support the precision repair and refurbishment of industrial gas turbine components by safely and accurately operating manual machine equipment. This role ensures high-quality, dimensionally accurate parts are manufactured to specification, contributing directly to operational reliability, performance, and customer satisfaction within the gas turbine repair facility.
 

Schedule:

1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday, 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM
 

Language: English or Spanish
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Machine complex, high-precision industrial gas turbine components.
  • Operate manual mills and lathes.
  • Assist with reverse engineering of parts using CAD software.
  • Interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Calculate dimensions and tolerances using precision measuring instruments.
  • Perform mechanical assembly and disassembly as required.
  • Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and safe condition.
  • Identify and report defective materials or questionable conditions.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

  • Experience in an industrial machining or turbine repair environment preferred.
  • Conventional and CNC machining experience on mills and lathes required.
  • Wire EDM experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of CAD and ability to assist in reverse engineering parts.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
