Heavy Equipment Mechanic

U.S. Shoring & Equipment is looking for a Heavy Equipment Mechanic o join our team in the Dallas–Fort Worth area. We’ve been serving Texas for over 20 years and support customers across the United States. This is a local position with limited travel within the DFW Metroplex. If you like working on a variety of equipment and want to be part of a team that takes pride in what they do, this is the place.

This is a hands-on role working on auger boring machines, water trucks, compaction equipment, and rental support equipment that keeps jobs moving.

What you’ll be working on

• Barbco auger boring machines
• Wacker compaction equipment
• Ledwell water trucks
• Light towers, blowers, compressors, and small equipment
• Engines including John Deere, Caterpillar, Kubota, and Deutz

What you’ll do

• Perform maintenance and repairs on a wide range of equipment
• Troubleshoot diesel engines including Tier IV Interim and Final
• Diagnose and repair hydraulic systems
• Troubleshoot electrical systems
• Inspect and prep equipment so it is ready to go back out on rent
• Work with the shop and rental team to keep equipment moving

What we’re looking for

• Technical training or hands-on experience in diesel or equipment repair
• Basic knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
• Someone who works safe and takes pride in what they do
• Self-motivated and doesn’t need to be chased down to get things done
• Good attitude and works well with a team
