POSITION SUMMARY

Under the direction and training of Maintenance PM Technician, assists with the following responsibilities to schedule and conduct PM inspections for all mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical/electronic equipment, and gas fired boiler and furnaces. 

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develops and optimizes PM (preventative maintenance) checklists.
• Works with various departments for scheduling PM inspections.
• Performs PM inspections.
• Performs visual inspections to detect deficiencies and helps coordinate resolution.
• Develops and optimizes TPM checklists.
• Trains others to perform TPM checklists and regularly follows up to ensure training effectives.
• Trains other to enter Nexgen service requests for TPM findings.
• Audits TPM checks being performed by others.
• Works in compliance with OSHA requirements.
• Advises operators and line mechanics of operation procedures and informs management of potential mechanical problems and inherent dangers.
• Performs other duties as required, including maintenance technician responsibilities.
• Must achieve Maintenance PM Technician Trainee within 24 months.

Education and/or Experience:

High School diploma or GED required.  Some community college level courses in Maintenance Technology or related program preferred.  Must pass Ramsay Mechanical Reasoning Assessment.  Must have two or more years production experience within one of Eupora’s value streams preferred with an exemplary record for the following:  attendance, safety, quality and job performance.

The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
