Lead Cardiovascular Technologist at Providence St. Joseph Hospital Eureka, CA. This position is full time  and will work 10-hour, Day shifts. St. Joseph Hospital Eureka is offering a $20K extended bonus for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.
Under the direction of the Department Manager/Director, the Lead Tech assumes responsibility for limited supervisory activities in the department.  The Lead Tech is technically and/or clinically competent, demonstrates and adheres to department standards, and serves as an administrative, clinical and/or technical resource to department staff.  Clinical and/or technical responsibilities account for 75% or more of worked hours.  Able to perform the competency standards of the Cardiovascular/ Interventional Imaging Technologist.  Provides age-appropriate care for patients as defined by the department scope of service.

Required Qualifications:Â
- Coursework/Training and Graduate of a program in Radiology Imaging Technologist approved by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association.
- Upon hire: California Diagnostic Radiologic Technology CertificationÂ
- Upon hire: National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart AssociationÂ
- 2 years of experience as a hospital-based Cardiovascular and/or Interventional Imaging Technologist.
- 2 years of Cath Lab experience.
Preferred Qualifications:Â
- Upon hire: Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing InternationalÂ
- Supervisory experience.
