Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic Retail Manager to oversee the operations of the Retail Department. This role involves managing seasonal and part-time team members as well as the Full time Supervisor that reports directly to the Retail Manager. This role is responsible for maximizing business results, monitoring inventory, and adapting to consumer buying behavior. You will ensure that all retail locations maintain high presentation standards, drive sales growth, and deliver exceptional guest service with a goal for constant improvement.

Responsibilities:
  • Direct and oversee all retail store, photo and lessee operations to maximize sales and profits.
  • Developing, implementing and maintaining a postive team environment that fosters a high performance team culture. 
  • Develop and maintain finanaical budgets and annual business plans to prepare and present monthly forcasts as required.
  • Develop, execute, and coordinate retail CAPEX from concept through completion, on budget and on time. 
  • Direct the execution of the visual merchandising, product displays and POS marketing efforts.
  • Managing the physical inventory of the departments and adhering to Six Flags and generally accepted inventory procedures and reporting.
  • Assure profitability of the department by closely monitoring sales, cost of goods, inventory, and labor.
  • Develop and promote an entrepreneurial spirit by making recommendations targeting increased sales, profits, and guest services satisfaction.
  • Serve as the Park On Duty Manager as assigned,
  • All other duties assigned 

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years Merchandise/ Retail experience, including Supervision/ Management, or related experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Management or equivalent management experience in retail or theme park industry
  • Strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
