The SJHMG Senior Hospitalists Coordinator provides administrative and clerical support for the Northern California region of Providence St. Joseph Health System Regional Float Pool, Hospitalist Department provider Program. This position is primarily responsible for the CV facilitation, interview coordination, physician employment offer letter, credentialing and malpractice application process, and onboarding needs. Coordinates the completion of all of the relevant paperwork necessary for regional Float Pool provider credentialing; licensing and billing with 4 hospitals and 3 separate medical groups teams, using effective and clear communication over a broad geographic region. Observes confidentiality when completing assigned tasks.

Required qualifications:

  • Upon request: Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request. See policy for additional information.
  • 2 years of Hospital or physician office experience

Preferred qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or other relevant area of study

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position.  The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
