Albany Care, a Specialized Mental Health Rehabilitation Facility (SMHRF) in Evanston, IL, has an opening for a Medical Records Clerk. This is a Monday-Friday, Full Time 1st Shift, Union Position, with a Pay Rate of $19.50 per hour

Responsibilities if the Medical Records Clerk:

Promptly respond to requests for retrieving medical records and files
Collect patient information
Process patient admissions
Upload all necessary documents into EMR
Ensure necessary medical forms are in stock
Schedule appts and transportation for residents

Requirements

of the Medical Records Clerk

Previous medical records clerk experience
Familiar with medical terminology
Knowledge of long term care facilities regulations helpful
Exceptional attention to details
Highly organized
Computer proficient
Must speak, read, and write English
Must have compassion, tolerance and understanding of those with psychiatric conditions
