Responsibilities
- Engage with facility personnel to understand HSE needs and challenges.
- Conduct risk assessments and identify potential hazards.
- Promote safe work practices and provide training as needed.
- Ensure compliance with relevant HSE regulations and standards.
- Implement and monitor HSE programs and initiatives.
- Investigate incidents and near misses, and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with facility management to develop and improve HSE processes.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of HSE activities.
- Provide regular reports and updates on HSE performance to management.
- Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging HSE trends.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar HSE role, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in using HSE management software and data analysis tools.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required.
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or similar certification is an asset.
- Experience with incident investigation and root cause analysis.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
