Delivery Driver - Evansville, IN

American Wholesalers, Inc. is looking to hire a day-shift local delivery driver to expand our growing team in Evansville, Indiana. This position would be expected to deliver vinyl siding and windows to our customers, retrieve and load windows and vinyl siding products into customers' vehicles, assist with loadng delivery trucks for themselves, salesmen, and other company drivers, perform inventory-related tasks, and be willing to step up and learn any other warehouse-related tasks. 

Business hours are Monday-Friday 7:00 am-4:00 pm, however, overtime may be mandated or available based on business needs.

Required Skills and Qualities:

• Clean Driving Record
• Indiana For-Hire Endorsement
• Must be punctual
• Must have good attendance
• Must have a good attitude, treat customers and co-workers with respect at all times
• Must be able to lift 50+ pounds on a regular basis, and 70+ pounds occasionally
• Must be able to work on your feet for 8+ hours for 5 days a week
• Must have ability to use full range of hand and body motions including standing, stooping, bending, pulling, pushing, squeezing, and lifting above your head.
• Must have the ability to work in various weather elements. This is not a temperature-controlled environment so the summer months are very hot. During the winter months, you will be exposed to the cold, rain, and snow and working near open dock doors and loading product outdoors. 
• Must conduct yourself with honesty and integrity in all situations
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Desired skills:

• Some basic knowledge of windows, siding, or other construction materials is preferred but not required.
