We are seeking a full-time HIM (Health Information Management) Assistant to add to our team of professionals. Releases protected health information to authorized individuals while adhering to company guidelines. Scans and files all paper documents in the Electronic Health Record. Promotes a teamwork approach within the HIM department.   Qualifications WHAT'S REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION? Applicants must have a High School diploma or GED. Prior medical office experience and Electronic Health Record experience is highly preferred. Knowledge of HIPAA guidelines is required. Candidates must have a working knowledge of computers and more specifically Microsoft Excel, excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, and be detailed oriented.
