If you're passionate about supporting individuals on their recovery journey and making a meaningful impact during a critical time of change, we want to hear from you. Please note: Weekend availability is required. Hourly rate for Peer Support Specialist with Certification by DMHA as a Certified Peer = $17.50/hour Hourly rate for Peer Support Specialist with NO Certification = $16/hour   Why Work For Southwestern? Engage individuals early during booking and intake to identify recovery support needs. Provide one-on-one coaching and advocacy within the Vanderburgh County Jail using a person-centered, trauma-informed approach Connect participants with treatment, recovery, and community resources. Assist with reentry planning to promote successful transitions back into the community. QualificationsQualifications: High School Diploma or GED required Certification preferred; eligibility required.
