Job DetailsJob Location: Buena Vista Home - Evansville, IN 47710Southwestern Behavioral Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part-Time 3rd Shift Weekends Mental Health Technician to join our team. In this role, you will work within our Supervised Group living and/or residential dual diagnosis programs for adults, providing supervision, support, and skill-building assistance to help clients achieve their highest level of independence. Mental Health Technicians work in a residential setting with individuals who have severe and persistent mental illness and/or substance use disorder to assist in developing recovery and independent living skills. We utilize a person centered approach to help residents reach their recovery goals.  Mental Health Technicians are not responsible for hands-on care.  We offer an individualized orientation program to help you learn how to effectively work with our residents that must be completed within six months of hire. QualificationsWHAT'S REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION? High school diploma or GED required. Experience working with individuals having psychiatric conditions desirable. Work schedule:  3rd Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM Demonstrated proficiency with interpersonal and writing skills. Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills. Must have valid driver's license and qualify for Company's vehicle liability insurance.
