Lead Technician- Help Us Build What’s Next
Are you a detail-driven, technically skilled professional who enjoys solving complex challenges and mentoring others? Join us as a Lead Technician and play a critical role in delivering high quality structural designs and models that help shape the build environment.
In this role, you’ll support our engineering team by transforming engineering concepts into precise drawings, coordinating project work, and providing leadership to a team of Production Technicians. Your expertise will help ensure that every structure we deliver meets the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.

What You'll Do
As a Lead Technician, you will ensure detailing excellence, schedule alignment, and team performance. Your responsibilities include:
- Creating detailed fabrication, erection, permit, and anchor rod drawings based on engineering designs.
- Uploading, editing, and releasing parts into the manufacturing system.
- Collaborating with project teams to address design issues and maintain efficient, cost-effective progress.
- Supporting production schedules, departmental targets, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Performing quality checks on drawings and deliverables.
- Providing leadership, coaching, and technical guidance to Detailing Team members.
- Helping develop and maintain standardized processes while growing your technical and product expertise.
What We're Looking For:
You’ll thrive in this role if you are a strong communicator, a natural problem-solver, and enjoy working collaboratively. Successful candidates will have:
- An Associate or 2-year technical degree or 6 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
- 6+ years of pre-engineered building or conventional steel detailing experience
- Proven experience leading complex projects and providing direction to multiple technicians.
