Receives general direction from the Security Manager, Supervisor or Lead Security Officer. Performs a variety of security responsibilities to protect patients, visitors, staff, physicians, property and facilities from accidents, bodily harm, fire, theft, vandalism, hazardous materials, and illegal entry. Enforces Providence Health Care, facility and security policies and regulations. Investigate reports of potential criminal conduct against PRMCE staff, visitors, staff, and property; responds and assists in restraining patients; detains individuals when necessary; provides protective services to high-risk areas; and performs Notary services. May be required to support any Providence or affiliated organization in emergent situations in the local service area.

Required Qualifications:

- Associate's degree
- 1 year Law Enforcement/Security/Military experience or 2 years of responsible work experience and prior experience in a healthcare setting preferred. Related college coursework may substitute for 1 year of experience.
