About the Role

We are hiring an entry level Tube Fitting Installer to join our aerospace manufacturing team in Everett, WA. In this role, you will learn and perform precision tube swaging operations on aerospace-grade tubing and fittings in accordance with strict quality and engineering standards. This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in detail-oriented, process-driven work and wants to build a long-term career in aerospace manufacturing.

What You'll Do

  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and parts lists to determine swage type, specifications, tolerances, and marking requirements
  • Verify tube and fitting part numbers, quantities, and revision levels against work orders prior to beginning work
  • Select and set up swage equipment (hydraulic, Permaswage, and roller swage machines) based on tube size and wall thickness
  • Install fittings using proper tooling, lubrication, witness line marking, and pressure/torque specifications per applicable standards (including BAC5001-5)
  • Perform first-part verification and obtain qualified operator sign-off before proceeding with production runs
  • Inspect completed swages to acceptance criteria: proper seating, uniform deformation, no gaps, cracks, or tool damage
  • Track part counts, sign off work orders, and maintain accurate production records
  • Clean parts and tooling after each job; return all equipment to proper storage locations
  • Identify and escalate non-conforming parts to Quality immediately

What We're Looking For

  • Ability to read and follow aerospace engineering drawings and written work instructions
  • Mechanical aptitude and comfort operating precision tooling and hydraulic equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to following process steps in exact sequence
  • Basic math skills for measurement and dimensional verification using calipers and gauges
  • Ability to work independently and maintain consistent quality across production runs
  • Prior experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or tube/fitting assembly is a plus but not required -- we provide on-the-job training

Schedule and Compensation

  • Monday through Friday, 5:30 AM to 2:00 PM
  • $20.00 to $24.00 per hour, depending on experience
  • Full-time, permanent position
